The White House has fired a handful of employees of the National Security Council after a meeting on Wednesday with the extreme right -right political activist Laura Loomer, who made recommendations to President Donald Trump about who should shoot, said familiar sources with the matter to ABC News.
Lomer met Trump on Wednesday, shortly before his tariff announcement in the Rosas Garden, the fountains said. The chief of Trump’s Cabinet, Susie Wiles, Vice President JD Vance and staff head Sergio Gor were involved in the meeting. The representative Scott Perry was also present, but was scheduled to meet with Trump about a variety of different issues, the sources added.
Trump told journalists about Air Force One on his way to Florida on Thursday that Loomer had recommended several people for work in the administration, but did not participate in NSC’s shots.
“She makes recommendations of things and people, and sometimes I listen to those recommendations, as I do with everyone,” Trump said. “I listen to everyone, and then I make a decision. But I saw it yesterday. I was at the ceremony and it is, it will always have something to say, generally very constructive.”
Trump said he didn’t know how many employees were fired, but commented on the loyalty of some.
“We are always going to let people go. People who do not like them, or people who do not believe they can do the job, or the people who may have loyalties to another person,” he said.
NSC spokesman Brian Hughes said in a statement that “NSC does not comment on personnel affairs.”
The New York Times was the first to report on Trump’s meeting with Lomer.
“Out of respect for President Trump and the privacy of the Oval Office, I will decrease in disseminating any detail about my Oval office meeting with President Trump. It was an honor to meet with President Trump and present my research results, I will continue working hard to support his agenda, and I will continue to reiterate the importance of a strong vote, for the good of protecting the president and our national security.”

Loomer has frequently extended erroneous information. In July, he said in a social media post, without citing evidence, that President Joe Biden had a medical emergency after landing at the Andrews joint base.
He had also begun statements without foundation about the family members of Judge Juan Merchan in the case of New York Hush money from Trump, including his daughter published a false photo of Trump in jail on social networks, which the court has denied. He promoted Trump to share Loomer’s publications and spread the rumors.
Lomer accompanied Trump to several campaign events last fall, a measure that caused criticism of some Republicans at that time.
While it is not clear if any of the recent shots is directly related to the national security advisor Mike Waltz and his staff for the use of the messaging application by his staff, he points out to communicate on delicate issues, it occurs when Waltz has had to defend himself privately and his staff and other senior employees of the White House.
The day after the inauguration, the Trump administration purged more than 150 employees of NSC because the new administration wanted to ensure that the objectives of the NSC were aligned with the Trump agenda. Shooting non -political employees, who generally serve periods of two years in the Council, has left the NSC, with little personal and lacking experts in the field of the entire government.
