London – An American air attack in Yemen killed at least 68 people in a migrant detention center in the Government of Saada, according to the country’s civil defense organization.
Another 47 people were injured in the strike in the city of Saada, in the northwest of the country, Yemen’s civil defense said in a statement published on Telegram on Monday morning.
The beaten center housed around 100 African migrants, said Yemen’s civil defense. There were no immediate comments in the United States about the strike.
A statement issued by the Central Command of the US Army was reported before the alleged attack on the Migrant Center, he said that his “intense and sustained campaign” since March 15 has reached more than 800 objectives and “killed hundreds of hutis combatants and numerous huti leaders, including the senior of Houthi missiles and the UAV officials.”

The administration of President Donald Trump intensified the American air attack campaign against the Huti forces aligned in Iran in Yemen as of March 15, expanding a campaign that began under former President Joe Biden in response to huti attacks against commercial and military shipment and strikes in Israel.
The Hutis began their attacks in October 2023, in response to the Israeli military campaign in Gaza launched after the attack of Hamas on October 7, 2023 to the south of Israel in which 1,200 people were killed and kidnapped.
Central Command said that their strikes “have degraded the rhythm and effectiveness of their attacks. Balistic missile releases have decreased by 69%. In addition, attacks of attack drones in a way in which they have decreased by 55%.”
“American attacks destroyed the capacity of Puerto Ras Isa to accept fuel that will begin to affect Houthi’s ability not only to perform operations, but also to generate millions of dollars in revenues for their terrorist activities,” reads the statement.
“They will undoubtedly continue to provide support to the hutis,” the central command continued. “Hutis can only continue attacking our forces with the support of the Iranian regime.”
“We will continue to increase the pressure until the objective is fulfilled, which remains the restoration of the freedom of navigation and the US deterrence in the region,” the command said.
